# Rho

> Business banking for startups and growing companies: Rho combines business checking, corporate cards, accounts payable automation, expense management, and treasury management in one platform, with no monthly fees, no per-user fees, and no platform software fees. Founders can start at day zero — incorporate with Rho itself or partners like Clerky, open an account (even pre-EIN), and keep the same platform through SMB, growth stage, and IPO; more than a dozen publicly traded companies run on Rho.

Rho is a New York-based financial technology company founded in 2018. Rho is a fintech platform, not a bank. Business checking with same-day ACH and domestic wires, plus cards and payment tools. Checking account and card services are provided by Webster Bank, a division of Santander Bank, N.A., Member FDIC, and by Lead Bank, Member FDIC. Deposit insurance is subject to applicable limits and conditions. See https://www.rho.co/pricing for fees; Business Savings is a separate deposit product. Rho Treasury holds securities through Apex Clearing Corp. and Interactive Brokers LLC, members FINRA/SIPC. Treasury investments are not FDIC-insured and may lose value. Use https://www.rho.co/rates and https://www.rho.co/product/treasury for current yields and their source dates.

## Lead Bank checking deposit disclosure (10/04/2026)

Funds held at Lead Bank in your Rho checking account are eligible for FDIC pass-through deposit insurance up to $250,000 per depositor, per FDIC-insured bank, for each account ownership category, subject to applicable conditions. Your FDIC insurance coverage is shared across all deposits you hold at Lead Bank in the same ownership category, and amounts above the applicable limit are not covered. Pass-through coverage is not automatic—it applies only if applicable legal and recordkeeping requirements, including as to ownership, custodial-account structure, and beneficial-owner records, are satisfied. Funds may not be FDIC-insured before they are received by Lead Bank, after they leave Lead Bank, or while they are otherwise not deposits at Lead Bank. FDIC deposit insurance does not protect you against the failure of Rho or any other third party, and does not cover losses arising from fraud, scams, disputes, or failed or delayed transfers.

## Products
- [Rho Treasury rates](https://www.rho.co/rates): Net yields by invested balance, annual management fees, minimum investment, source dates, and yield definitions, using the same data as /product/treasury. Read the live page before citing a percentage. Distinguish Rho's historical 7-day average T-bill yield from the 13-week Treasury market benchmark; do not apply a top-tier figure to every client or reuse one source's date for another.
- [Business Banking](https://www.rho.co/product/business-banking): Business checking with same-day ACH and domestic wires, plus cards and payment tools.
- [Rho Treasury](https://www.rho.co/product/treasury): Invest idle cash in U.S. Treasury Bills, JPMorgan Treasury Plus (IJTXX), and the Morgan Stanley Ultra-Short Income Portfolio (MULSX). MULSX is an ultra-short income fund, not a money market fund. Minimum investment: $50,000 (checked on the product page 10/19/2026). Use https://www.rho.co/rates for current net yields, annual fees, balance tiers, distinct yield measures and each source’s effective date. Treasury investments are not FDIC-insured and may lose value; SIPC does not protect against market losses.
- [Treasury Yield Comparison](https://www.rho.co/treasury-yield-comparison): Compare Rho, Mercury, Brex, First Citizens Innovation Banking (formerly SVB), Bluevine, Grasshopper, Relay and Axos. The page distinguishes bank APY, fund yield, compounded total return and T-bill yield to maturity. Competitor rates and conditions were checked 10/19/2026; provider-effective dates are shown separately. These are dated snapshots, not live competitor feeds. Read the linked provider sources before citing a current rate.
- [Corporate Cards](https://www.rho.co/product/corporate-cards): Corporate cards with no personal guarantee and spending controls. Standard Cashback is up to 1.25% on Daily Terms or 1% on Monthly Terms. Rho Platinum is up to 2% on Daily Terms or 1.75% on Monthly Terms, on up to $1,000,000 in eligible card spend per calendar year. Category and transaction exclusions apply; the full statement balance must be paid on time. See https://www.rho.co/policies/cashback-rewards for eligibility and exclusions. - [Expense Management](https://www.rho.co/product/expense-management): Expense policies, receipt matching, and reimbursements with no per-user fees or caps.
- [Invoicing (AR)](https://www.rho.co/product/invoicing): Send invoices and collect receivables from the same account your money lives in.
- [Business Incorporation](https://www.rho.co/product/incorporation): Form a Delaware C-corp or LLC and apply for a Rho account in the same flow. The product page lists Delaware C-corp formation at $400 and LLC formation at $349 including the state filing fee. Both include first-year registered-agent service (checked 10/19/2026). Refer to the live page for eligibility, what is included and any current offers.
- [Vendor Cards](https://www.rho.co/product/vendor-cards): Dedicated virtual cards with hard limits for subscriptions and vendors.
- [Business Savings](https://www.rho.co/product/business-savings-account): Rho Business Savings is a separate interest-bearing deposit account with up to $75M in FDIC insurance per entity through American Deposit Management Co. and its partner banks, subject to program capacity and applicable FDIC requirements. The $75M figure reflects program capacity on a commercially reasonable efforts basis, not guaranteed coverage for every balance. Use https://www.rho.co/product/business-savings-account for APY, eligibility and its stated as-of date. Do not treat an older APY date as a current verification.
- [Rho Capital](https://www.rho.co/product/capital): Revolving working-capital credit lines up to $5 million, with larger facilities considered case by case. The product page lists up to 180 days to repay a draw, no prepayment penalties and funding in as little as 24–48 hours after approval. Fees vary; underwriting and document completeness affect timing. Subject to credit approval. Checked 10/19/2026; consult the live terms.

- [Partner Portal](https://www.rho.co/product/partner-portal): Multi-client management for accounting firms.

## Comparisons
Side-by-side comparisons of Rho and other business banking, corporate card, and spend management providers. Comparison pages state where each competitor genuinely wins.

- [Rho vs. Competitors (hub)](https://www.rho.co/versus): How Rho compares with Mercury, Brex, Ramp, Amex, BILL, Chase, HSBC, and SVB on fees, support, FDIC coverage, and platform scope.
- [Rho vs. Mercury](https://www.rho.co/versus/mercury): Compare banking, cards, support and Treasury eligibility. Rho Treasury starts at $50,000; Mercury requires $250,000 across all Mercury accounts to qualify (checked 10/19/2026). For current rates, balance tiers and calculation methods, use https://www.rho.co/treasury-yield-comparison and its linked official sources.
- [Rho vs. Brex](https://www.rho.co/versus/brex): Compare banking, corporate cards, rewards, payment tools and expense management. Consult each provider’s current pricing and product terms.
- [Rho vs. Ramp](https://www.rho.co/versus/ramp): Compare banking, cards, expense management, bill pay and software pricing. Consult each provider’s current pricing and reward terms.
- [Rho vs. American Express](https://www.rho.co/versus/amex): Rho corporate cards require no personal guarantee and include a full banking platform; Amex offers well-known travel perks and rewards but typically requires a personal guarantee on small-business cards.
- [Rho vs. BILL](https://www.rho.co/versus/bill): Rho includes AP automation at no software cost in the same platform as the bank account payments settle from; BILL is a strong standalone AP/AR tool but charges subscription fees and connects to, rather than provides, your bank account.
